All in Gods time

  1. Sometimes God says not yet and looking back to a time when he spoke to me from Isaiah It's not often I'll quote from the King James version, but it's translation of Isaiah 40:31 are most appropriate:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint, I've waited ages, I've had my almost six years as attached reader and loved it. I've
Waited till Olm was passed ( five years) and in that time I have grown into the person I am now and hopefully become equipped or the task I feel God is calling me to. Yet again I heard the words ( just when I'd asked God to confirm His call, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the broken hearted to proclaim liberty to the Captives to comfort all who mourn to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of ladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit! Wow is that all. So maybe a long wait was in order I can even see the reason for the November situation, since then. I've learned to listen more to what God is saying and to reflect on what it means for me an my ministry, to push the boundaries and listen to what God is saying today.
